October 29, 2015  It's been a great start to the school year.  Students have been learning about a growth mindset vs. a fixed mindset and what language they can use to develop a growth mindset!
May 12, 2015   It's OFFICIAL!!   We are a National School of Character!!  Congrats to all students, staff, parents, and community members!
Marshall the Miracle Dog Premiere
Our entire Mill Creek family attended Marshall's new movie.  It will be released nationwide late August 2015!  It was a great movie and an emotional adventure for all!!  Thanks Marshall!
Happy New Year! Bring on 2015...  Remember there is ONLY ONE YOU!!  Start fresh and focus on small goals to accomplish bigger ones.

Students Celebrated Mix It Up at Lunch December 9, 2014.  It was a great day! New friends were made and students led conversations about various situations addressing cyber bullying, healthy choices, empowerment, opportunity, personal safety, and rumors/gossip.

Mill Creek partners with Grace Early Childhood to beautify Cleveland Lake.  We are excited to implement Service Learning with our students and to give back to the community.

Welcome to 5th grade!

This year we are on a journey to show our Mill Creek PRIDE !  As champions we are positive, respectful, In Control, and determined. This year we have much to celebrate together as a National School of Character earning recognition for supporting positive behavior through interventions and supports for our students.
Every student will complete a 5th grade Needs Assessment during his/her technology class.  I will use this to plan classroom lessons and to provide information through out the year.
